Term Time absences
If your child needs time off duriing term-time, a Pupil Absence Request Form must be completed prior to the absence period. The request will be reviewed by the Headteacher, but will only be approved for exceptional circumstances as absences affect children’s social, emotional and academic progress. If the absence request is unauthorised and the child is still taken out of school, this will be unauthorised and may make you liable for a Penalty Notice being issued.
