Ways to get involved
There are a variety of ways you can get involved with the PTA.
- Fundraising events are organized and run by parent/caregiver and child volunteers. We would love it if you volunteer to organize an event, to help run a stall during the event or help collect and contribute prizes for games and raffles.
- Do you have a skill that you can volunteer? We have had a children’s book writer do workshops, a psychotherapist give an assembly on how to look after our mental health, a gardener look after the school’s plants, computer programmers run a Code Club after school. If you can spare some time, please contact the Headteacher.
- Do you have some time that you can volunteer to support a child in their learning? Over the past years, we have had parents volunteering their time once or twice a week to support children on a one to one basis to develop children’s maths and reading skills.
- Not all volunteering comes in the form of giving your time. If you can spare a few pounds, how about setting up a direct debit donation via Virgin Money Giving or donate through Easyfundraising when you shop at your favourite retailers.
