Christmas Lunch - Friday 11th December 2020

We had a very special lunch - we enjoyed a traditional Christmas roast dinner, listened to Christmas songs and pulled Christmas crackers!

Super Duper You - PSHE 12.11.2020

During one of our PSHE lessons this week, we used the book by Sophy Henn, Super Duper You, to explored what makes us so special and how we can be so many different things at different times.  We celebrated being super by making our own superhero masks - what great fun!

Forest School - 11.11.2020

During Forest School, we took on the Leaf Challenge where we has to find and sort a selection of autumn leaves and arrange them into a rainbow of leaves!

Remembrance Day 2020

We learnt about the importance of Remembrance Day and why poppies are worn at this time every year.  We painted fields of poppies and made our own split-pin poppies!

We also watched a video that showed us how animals were affected by war and explored how they must have felt when it ended.

CBeebies | Poppies animation

'Poppies' is a BBC Children's remembrance animation. The animation sees The Great War experienced by the animal inhabitants of a WW1 battlefield. Visit us at...

Forest School - 4.11.2020

We used natural materials found in our woodlands to form letters we have learnt in phonics and our names.

Black History Month 2020

We shared the story of Sulwe in class and were inspired by the magical journey of how the character learnt to accept her own unique beauty.  Our artwork represents the special night sky and the beauties it reveals!
