All children at Horniman Primary School have the opportunity to take part in an extensive programme of swimming lessons at Forest Hill Pools to enable them to meet the end of KS2 National Curriculum requirements.
The National Curriculum stipulates that all schools must provide swimming instruction as part of the curriculum in either KS1 or KS2.
