The Parent Teacher Association exists to promote positive relationships between staff, parents and the school community. It aims to support the school by raising money for additional facilities which do not come from government funding. For example, the recent redevelopment of the playground was partly paid for by money raised by the PTA and we are currently fundraising for further improvements. Every parent is automatically a member of the PTA.

HORNIMAN ANNUAL PUB QUIZ
The Horniman Annual Pub Quiz will take place on Monday 1st February. This year's venue is The Forest Hill Tavern on Forest Hill Road. Kick off is at 9pm. Tickets cost £3 per person or £10 for a team of 4 (available on the door). There will be prizes for the top two scores, the best team name and bonus question. Come along and join in what will definitely be a fun event!

CAKE SALE FOR HAITI
The Cake sale held on Friday 23rd January to raise money for the Haiti Disaster Appeal raised a fantastic £400! Thanks to everyone who donated and bought cakes.

WINTER WONDERLAND BALL
The Winter Wonderland Ball held at school on 11th December was a brilliant evening! Everyone had a great time dancing to the Funky Chicks, visiting Father Christmas and indulging in festive treats. Well over a thousand pounds was raised for the school funds. Thanks to everyone who supported this successful event!
