Horniman Primary School PTA

The Parent Teacher Association exists to promote positive relationships between staff, parents and the school community. It aims to support the school by raising money for additional facilities that do not come from government funding. Recently funded or contributed toward by PTA funds were: the storytelling chair, water coolers, artwork on the new school gates, herb garden, compost bin, sports kits for away fixtures, coaches for school trips.

Every Horniman parent/carer is automatically a member of the PTA; everyone is welcome. The current PTA committee was elected at the AGM in May 2011.

PTA Meetings

Come and find out what is going on, add your suggestions – get involved! PTA meetings are open to all Horniman parents and carers, and are held near the beginning of each term. Meetings will be announced via the school newsletter or PTA email.

PTA Choir

PTA Choir is held on Monday nights at 8pm. Anyone who enjoys singing is welcome. £1 donation to PTA each week. Contact Stella Dunn for details.

PTA Coffee Mornings

Held on the last Friday of each month. An informal social for parents and carers 9–10am. A donation toward the PTA is appreciated. Volunteers to run this are required!

School Bunting and PTA Bouncy Castle
