Our Governors are representatives of the local community, parents, school staff and the Local Education Authority. They bring a range of interests, knowledge and skills and they all work in a voluntary capacity. They have responsibility for overseeing the organisation, curriculum and budget of the school. The day–to-day running of the school is entrusted to the Headteacher and staff.

Minutes of all Governors' meetings are available from the school office.

Horniman Primary School is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people and expects all staff and volunteers to share this commitment.
